Fellowship Fridays Classes

TOLE PAINTING GROUP
At 11:00am interested tole painters are welcome to come and paint with fellow painters. We will motivate each other to finish old projects or to create new ones. Bring your own supplies and projects. Be sure to register so that we have enough table space. Several tole painting books have been donated to Fellowship Friday for you to glance through or to check out for your own painting needs.

Decorated Clipboards
Looking for neat teacher gifts or a special gift for Christmas? Come and make decorated clipboards, using scrapbooking paper, ribbons paint and a clipboard of any size. A supply list will be provided when you sign up.

Cookie Bouquet
Jennifer Rock will be teaching us how to make cookie bouquets. She will show us how to make the cookies and then we will decorate them. Everyone will take home a decorated cookie. Check out the website for pictures of the bouquets...>>>here

Punchneedle Heart Pin
Make a pin by punching embroidery thread with a special needle into cloth. It is an old craft that ismaking a comeback. Go to the website to find examples of this craft.

Scrapbook Clock Face
Take an ordinary clock and embelish it with your own artistic design. Go to this website for examples.

Decorative Cookies/Cookie Bouquets( photos)
Learn to make and decorate cookies that can be given individually as gifts or put into Cookie Bouquet arrangements. Learn to also dip marshmallows and fruit into chocolate for a special treat.

Ribbon Bookmarks
Using 2 buttons and narrow ribbon, make quick and easy bookmarks for everyone.

Mop Angel
Turn a mop head that you use to mop the floor into a darling Christmas angel with a few short steps. This is an easy and fun project for Christmas.

Crocheting (all levels)
Learn to crochet or get help with a project if you are stuck. Need new ideas for a project? Come and see what Robyn has to offer.

Knitting Project: Shoe covers for traveling
Learn to knit a protective travel covering for shoes, so that your shoes do not touch your clothing in the suitcase. Very easy! Can use left over yarn. Contact Leah for details as to time.

Beaded Embellishments for Girl's Socks
Crochet beads around the tops of girl's socks for a fast, simple and inexpensive gift. See the sample at the Women's Ministry Kickoff. Contact Leah for class details.

Painted Christmas Ornaments
Learn to paint on glass Christmas ornaments using the Donna Dewberry method. Very cute!!!
Class will be taught 10am-1pm in Oct. Contact Leah for details.

New Paper Gift Boxes
Two new gift wrapping ideas: Easy gift boxes made from greeting cards or cardstock OR a gift box that opens to a card! The card box will hold the painted ornament perfectly!

Paper Bag Mini Scrapbook
A new use for those brown or white paper lunch bags that you have hanging around...come and make the cutest scrapbook for all occasions. Contact Leah for class details.

Beaded necklace - Create a masterpiece using fishing wire and your favorite beads.

Decorated Candles - Use tissue paper and stamps to beautify a candle.

Domino Slides - Make a slide for your necklace using a domino, clay and rubber stamps or trinkets.

Fleece Blankets - Cut and tie together two pieces of fleece to make a wonderful blanket.

Gem and wire utensils - Decorate serving utensils, glass plates, etc., with gems and wire

Gift bags - Make gift bags from envelopes, paper plates and greeting cards

Heirloom baby bonnet - Make a keepsake baby bonnet, which can be turned into the bride's wedding handkerchief

Knitting projects - We will teach you to knit if you do not know how. Projects include, but are not limited to: scarves of all kinds, the world famous dishcloth, and newborn blankets and caps for Western Wake Hospital.

Latch hook rugs

Lighted Glass Blocks - Drill a hole in a glass window block, add lights and wrap it with a bow to make it look like a present.

Painted pottery - Make serving dishes and coasters using acrylic paints and terra cotta pottery

Pop-up books - Create a mini accordian style scrapbook using papers and ribbon.

Post-it note frames - Using an acrylic picture frame and rubber stamps, create a place for post-it notes. It can be used by the phone, bed or any place that you need paper.

Post-it note holder - Make a holder which protects post-it notes in your purse.

Ribbon hair bows - Using all kinds of ribbon, make different styles of hair bows. If you are interested in learning to make ribbon hair bows, let Leah know ASAP so that she can arrange a time for the class.  It can be taught at 1pm and 7pm depending on the interest.

Ribbon watches - Make simple ribbon watchbands that can be changed to match your outfit.

Rubber stamping - Create greeting cards for all occasions, wrapping paper, etc. with stamps.

Tile coasters - Stamp on an unglazed tile, color in the image and seal it...you've just created a coaster that will absorb water.
